The one, the only, The Willard
| The Willard is known for its opulence and beauty and of course, it's kick-ass all you can drink, I mean eat, Sunday Brunch. The Willard is not a cheap Sunday out, but all of us in attendance agreed, it was worth the $85 buckaroos we each dropped. See Ann's review below for the full story of the legendary Willard brunch. "There were only 4 of us at this week's brunch but let me tell you it was EXCELLENT!!!! It started with me and my friend Anna getting there at noon and being slightly annoyed that despite all of the empty tables we had to wait until 12:30. But then the angel of a manager came out to the lobby with a bottle of champagne! After Tiffany and Erica arrived we were seated at Armando's table. We love him. Despite the steep cost - we all agree that it is more than worth it and we will all go again!! | |||
| Everything is top quality and they have an AMAZING seafood bar. All cleaned and ready to eat, lovely crab legs, oysters, clams, mussels salmon and scallops. There is an array of meats (sorry, I didn't do a god job of checking out the hot meat/food station). I do think some of the veggies looked a little dry, but they brought Erica fresh ones when they replenished the hotplate thing. There is an omelet, pancake crepe station and my omelet was fluffy and delicious. |

| Since we planned on staying until they kicked us out, we took a little break and enjoyed delicious bloody marys and champagne/mimosas. Then we moved on to the cheese table (yes, there is an entire table) and dessert!! The ladies were impressed by the poached pear (however, I do not eat hot fruit). Armando told us when we arrived that if there was anything we wanted that we did not see, we should ask him and he would see what he could do. When Erica decided that she wanted an Irish coffee - Armando delivered. | |||

Hello - this is Franck aka Leo's father aka Ann's secret Arlington French husband. I would like to make a suggestion: that a profile of Ann be added to this website. To give it maximum stalker-lure potential, it should feature pictures of Ann (Ann drinking a mimosa, Ann shopping for jewelery in Beijing, Ann blackberrying at La Guardia's United Airlines Lounge, Ann and Melika racing their shopping carts at Target, Ann gesturing while speaking, etc.)

Franck....I LOVE your suggestion!! We SO need those pics! We talked yesterday at Axis how we need to bring our cameras more often.
